Your privacy,
in plain English.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and in our salon, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

Questions? Contact us at redpersimmon.bookings@gmail.com or (603) 621-7469.

What we collect

When you book an appointment online

When you join the walk-in queue on our in-salon tablet

When you visit the salon

When you use Aivy, our website assistant

Automatically, when you use the website

A note about the notes field

Our booking form has an optional notes box for design ideas or requests. You are free to leave it blank.

Some people choose to tell us about allergies or skin sensitivities so we can look after them properly. We're glad to have that information and we use it only to serve you safely during your visit. But please understand that anything you type there is stored with your appointment and is included in the confirmation email sent through our email provider. Share only what you're comfortable sharing — you can always tell your technician in person instead.

Why we collect it

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of outside companies to run this website and our booking system. Each receives only what it needs.

These companies process this information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We share your information with no one else, except where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our customers or staff.

About Aivy, our AI assistant

Aivy is artificial intelligence, not a person.

Text messages

The confirmation and reminder emails we send are about appointments you actually booked, and every one includes links to reschedule or cancel.

Cookies and tracking

We use no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics that follow you around other websites.

Our website stores a small amount of information in your browser so the Aivy chat works — a session identifier and a short-lived security token. Both are deleted when you close the tab. Cloudflare also sets a security token to tell real visitors apart from automated bots.

How long we keep your information

We keep your appointment and customer records for as long as you remain a customer, so your technician can see your history and serve you better next visit.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will — with one exception: we keep the minimum financial records the law requires us to keep for tax and accounting. Those do not include your notes, your email address, or your phone number.

Aivy conversations are not kept in our records after your session ends.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

Email redpersimmon.bookings@gmail.com or call (603) 621-7469. We'll respond within 30 days, we won't charge you, and we won't treat you any differently for asking.

Children

We offer manicures and pedicures for children aged 10 and under, and we're happy to have them.

Appointments for children must be booked by a parent or guardian. Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information through this website, contact us and we will delete it.

Keeping your information secure

We protect your information with encrypted connections, database access controls, and bot protection on our forms. Our staff dashboard is password-protected, and our customer records are not publicly readable.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the New Hampshire Attorney General as required by New Hampshire law (RSA 359-C:20).

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and say so clearly on our website if the change is significant. The version number at the top tells you which version was in effect when you booked.
